The tragic tremor back in 2010 somewhere in the Caribbean entombed several dreams abyss to the ground. The entire world shed fathomless ounces of tears on the dreadful impact of such disastrous magnitude engulfing thousands of lives. Different political and entertainment figures had come together in hopes to bring the lost hope of befallen casualties back. Now, Haiti reconstruction has still remained a piercing issue which needs everyone to spare a little of what they have.
The massive destruction of the country has almost brought the national economy to a dreadful end. With the whole world offering the byproducts of their empathy, it has continued to stand and combat all the serious effects of the disaster.
Rebuilding of the entire community is the utmost concern of both the government and its international ally, the Haiti Reconstruction Fund or HRF. The HRF helps allocate contributions coming from the bilateral donors in financing the high priority projects and programs in the country.
The HRF has currently granted a particular request in support of the national milk productions. This aims to gratify the needs of around three thousands Haitian kids who are deprived of good nutrition after this terrible incident. This supply will be expected to last until the 2014 or so.
And though the HRF can approve relevant financing for the greater good of everyone in the country, the agency is still highly dependent on its proponents. All proposals should go to the IHRC as the agency does not have a complete control of all the resources pledged for rebuilding.
It does not set rebuilding priorities and does not implement any projects. It solely encourages improvements of the local capacity and adheres to the implemented projects of its partners. This was properly given introduction on the eleventh day of May 2010.
