United states economy is in the deepest shade of red it's ever been in, the education of America's youth seems no longer important, and Godlessness is plaguing the US as never before. So, exactly when did America get into such a deep sleep? Was it when big business began lobbying in the Nation's Capital? When the Government started paying teachers far less than they deserve? Or maybe was it when the Government politely asked God if He wouldn't mind letting us take the reigns?
America has been labeled the most powerful nation in the world for decades; however, times have surely change. Democrats and Republicans had to taste the fear of their legacies becoming tarnished by being in office during America's first default ever, in order to come to agree on a decision. While on the contrary, that same fear has caused politicians to pass legislation that goes against the very principles this great nation was founded on.
As the US Government continues to urge people to keep on "dreaming", more and more Americans are: losing jobs, living without medical care, losing their houses, some even losing their peace of mind, and in some of the most severe cases, losing faith and hope! So, in summary, dream until you completely lose faith and hope in your dreams, seems to be the message the US Government is conveying to the American people.
Well look, there is no time for debate, nor is there any time to evaluate any of the above problems. Instead, there is only time for one action: the American people need to wake up! Or else history will show that this generation of Americans were to busy "dreaming" to make any meaningful impact or contribution to the world, besides giving the world "stars who dance" and reality television.
Quick question: Would the world end if the American people canceled their cable subscriptions, if the Government compensated teachers fairly, or admit that they've screwed things up royally, and handed the reigns back over to God? Certainly not. But, of course, the people running our Government will never know that until they actually try doing the right thing for a change.
