The Politics' Structure and Content

By Dmitry Vasenyov

Practically, it is impossible to give politics the one definition. There are many concepts of politics in the literature. Everyone interprets the policy differently depending on what he takes as its basis: the relations with the power or function, the policy's objectives. Some definitions are general, others are private.

A block of conflicting interests threatening to destroy human community was revealed in multiple human contacts. And then the integrity of society has become a serious social problem. This need was realized in the making of specific social institutions that were able to provide the necessary forms of social behavior compulsory for all people through using of coercive means.

The second component of the politics' structure is a political consciousness expressing the dependence of political life on the informed people's attitude to their powerfully important interests. From the perspective of the role and place of this element all politics is nothing else but the continuous implementation of political views and ideals, goals and programs, norms and attitudes in the people's behavior, self-government, etc.

Thus, the need to settle human relations which caused the formation of public bodies of state power, the emergence of social associations where people were grouped in order to protect certain interests as well as the growth of the administrative apparatus produced the level of political public relations.

With the policy the society began to move away from such a social organization where its integrity was realized on the basis of the people's relations with no clear separation of functions of rulers and ruled.
