Whispered 2012 Presidential Candidates Secrets

By Kelly Walsh

Members of the public and the media have become more interested in the outcomes of U.S. presidential races in the past few election cycles. A great excitement is building up in the air for the upcoming 2012 elections as the candidates and the results are much anticipated by the public and other sectors. The Democrats have their bet already established, this is the challenge in which the Republicans has to pick the right candidate for 2012 elections.

The GOP arena can bring a lot of possibilities, meanwhile big names for the 2012 elections will include Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump. The current administration led by Mr. Obama has received a lot of feedback and reviews from the voters. Before Mr. Obama could even assumed office, the U.S already experience economic turmoil.

One of the toughest problems of Mr. Obama's administration is the financial crisis. The natural calamities which affected many states plus foreign policy issues were the many problems of Mr. Obama He also received criticisms about Asians taking away American jobs. One good news that Mr. Obama has to tell his fellow Americans was the immediate killing of terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden despite the many controversies he has encountered. This event will likely be big advantage for Obama's re-election bid.

One of the Republican aspirants for the presidential elections would be former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney. With his unique skills and talents, Romney is one of the guys to look into when 2012 presidential elections commences. A veteran national candidate, Romney posed a formidable challenge to Senator John McCain in the 2008 fight for the nomination. Romney, however,is not a lock for the nomination. He has been criticized for changing positions on key issues and for his health care policies as a governor. Romney may have a slim chance in getting the nomination if Sarah Palin joins the 2012 presidential election.

There is a history between John McCain and Sarah Palin as running mate in the 2008 elections. During this time she became a controversial figure and received much media attention for both her political views and aspects of her personal life. Sarah Palin has supporters but she is has not gained the support by the moderates and conservative democrats. This would put her at a disadvantage if she were her party's 2012 presidential candidate. This may fail her to win the nomination.

For her to secure the nomination, she would need the support of the loyal conservative groups who are willing to embrace her position on foreign policy and economic matters.Donald Trump is another potential candidate who aroused much speculation. Whilst Donald Trump didn't disclose to the public that he'll run for the Republican ticket, many have speculated that he will challenge the GOP and Mr. Obama for the 2012 presidential elections. Donald Trump has not mentioned anything with regard to joining the Republican nomination but many are predicting of his intention in challenging Mr. Obama and the GOP.

This might allow him to play spoiler in the presidential race. As the elections draw near, the fate of the candidates and the country is in the hands of the voters. Whoever emerge as the winner, the political battle will be exciting as it was before.
