2012 Presidential Candidates for Dummies

By Velma Nunez

The clamor by the public and media has immensely grow ever since the two past elections was successful. Every political candidate has their own tactic to prove to the public and this scenario is drawing too much anticipation as we move closer to the 2012 presidential elections. The Democrats have their bet already established, this is the challenge in which the Republicans has to pick the right candidate for 2012 elections.

The GOP is really a big thing but big names such as Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump are now gearing up for the 2012 elections. A lot of mixed reviews where given by many voters to Mr. Obama's administration. The harsh economic situation which occurred in the U.S happened already before he could even start working as president.

One of the toughest problems of Mr. Obama's administration is the financial crisis. Moreover, the foreign policy issues and the weather problem which torn cities and other places where the many problems of Mr. Obama Criticism from different sectors in the U.S was received by Mr. Obama due to American jobs that were taken advantage by Asians. The death of Osama Bin Laden paved way for Mr. Obama's ratings to boost in spite the many problems he has faced. This one event will give the president a greater chance of achieving re-election.

One of the potential candidates which will represent the Republican Party in the 2012 presidential elections would be, Mitt Romney. As a potential candidate for 2012 elections, Romney brings a lot to the table with his speaking skills and experience. Romney a veteran of the game may have a tough duel with John McCain for the 2012 nomination. Romney, however,is not a lock for the nomination. Former Governor Romney has encountered a lot of oppositions in terms of his health care policy. Many experts believe that Romney's chance at securing the nomination would be better if former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin does not enter the 2012 presidential elections.

There is a history between John McCain and Sarah Palin as running mate in the 2008 elections. During that time she received a lot of feedback and criticism with regard to his political and personal life. Sarah Palin has supporters but she is has not gained the support by the moderates and conservative democrats. If she will be part of her party for the 2012 presidential elections, her chance of winning might have a slim chance. This could result for lop siding defeat for her in the 2012 presidential elections.

To win the nomination of her party, she needs to have the support of the conservative groups who are willing to accept her least experience with regard to economic policies and political views. One of the potential candidate in the upcoming presidential elections would be Donald Trump. While he has stated that he will not run for the Republican nomination, there is speculation that he might challenge the president and the eventual GOP nominee as a third party candidate. With Donald Trump as a potential candidate, he is not yet to reveal his intention in running for the Republican nomination though he might challenge the GOP and Mr. Obama

This can be an advantage for him to win the 2012 elections. As we move closer to the 2012 presidential elections, the fate of the candidates now lies in the voice of the people. The political race is highly anticipated by many Americans regardless who emerge d victorious.
